Rounded shapes last longer. To choose a size and shape, look at the product and your logo. Send us your idea, and we draw the cut line on the dieline for approval.

Shapes, paper, hole, and string

Die cut tags are printed on thick card stock, because a thick tag holds its shape after cutting. Uncoated paper has a natural feel, and coated paper suits bright color. Kraft stock gives a brown, natural look. A hole is punched near the top, and the string can be cotton, jute, ribbon, or elastic. A shape that is not a standard size needs a custom cutting die, so we confirm the shape before production. Finishes include matte, gloss, soft touch, and foil.

Printing and finishing

Custom shaped hang tags work best with a clean outline. Very thin parts, tight inner curves, and sharp points can tear or bend. Keep important text inside a safe area, away from the cut line and the hole. Extend the background past the cut line, so no white edge shows. We set up the cut line on the dieline and send it for approval. Foil on the outline gives a bright accent.

If you have no artwork yet, free design support and a free consultation are included, and our team can help lay out the logo and the text from your brand colors. You review and approve the artwork before production starts.

4. Receive your free dieline and add your artwork, or ask for help.

6. Production takes 6 to 8 business days after artwork approval, and your order ships free to one U.S. address.
