What facial kit boxes are used for

A facial kit packs the steps of a treatment into one box: cleanse, exfoliate, mask, treat, moisturize. Sizes and how to measure

List every item in the kit and measure each one: bottle diameter and height with the cap on, jar diameter and height with the lid on, tube length and width, and the thickness of flat items such as sheet mask pouches. Tools such as a gua sha stone or a roller need their length and width. Allow 1/8 to 1/4 inch per side for clearance, then choose a layout, either a single row, two rows, or a tray with a shelf. Box styles and closures

A magnetic closure rigid box is the usual choice for a kit people keep and reuse. A lift-off lid rigid box has a deep base that holds tall bottles upright. A drawer box slides out of a sleeve and creates a reveal. A folding carton with a tuck end or an auto lock bottom brings the cost down for a trial kit, and a sleeve box can wrap a tray. Materials and thickness

Rigid boxes use greyboard of about 1.5 to 2 mm under a printed wrap, which gives a kit weight and shape. Folding cartons use paperboard of about 300 to 400 GSM, or kraft board for a natural spa look. Mailers use E-flute or B-flute corrugated. Exact thickness is confirmed for each order. Every box uses eco-friendly materials sourced from certified suppliers, and recycled paperboard and kraft board are available.

Printing, coatings, and finishes

Print full color CMYK or match your brand with Pantone spot colors, on the outside only or the outside and inside. The inside lid is a good place to print the step-by-step directions, so customers know the order of use. Matte lamination looks calm, gloss adds shine, and soft-touch adds a velvety feel. Spot UV can pick out the logo, and foil in gold, silver, or rose gold adds an accent. Embossing and debossing add texture to a name. Inserts and windows

The insert is what makes a kit feel arranged. A paperboard or corrugated insert holds each item in its own die-cut opening, so bottles do not knock together and a tool does not scratch a jar. Add a shelf for sheet masks, a slot for a brush, or a small tray for a mini jar. A die-cut window with clear film lets customers see the contents before opening, which helps in retail. For gifting, a solid lid with a foil logo may suit the look better.
