What hand soap packaging is used for

Sizes and how to measure

Measure the bottle, not the label. Take the outer diameter at the widest point and the full height with the pump on. Pumps and foaming heads are often wider than the bottle, so measure the pump width and the pump position too. For a set, measure each product and choose a layout. Box styles and closures

A straight tuck end carton is the standard choice for hand soap boxes, because it ships flat and fits a bottle snugly. An auto lock bottom holds the weight of a full liquid bottle without tape. A reverse tuck end keeps the front panel clean for the scent name. A sleeve box slides over a tray and suits a pair or a set, a window carton shows the color of the soap, and a magnetic closure rigid box suits a gift set. These styles can be made as hand soap box packaging for retail or for mailing.

Materials and thickness

Folding cartons use paperboard of about 300 to 400 GSM, which prints crisp color and holds a full bottle firmly. Kraft board gives a natural look. Rigid boxes use greyboard of about 1.5 to 2 mm under a printed wrap and suit a gift set. For mail, E-flute or B-flute corrugated mailers add crush protection. Exact thickness is confirmed for each order. Every box uses eco-friendly materials sourced from certified suppliers, and recycled paperboard and kraft board are available.

Printing, coatings, and finishes

Print full color CMYK or match your brand with Pantone spot colors, on the outside only or the outside and inside. Hand soaps are often sold in several scents, so many brands use one layout with a color band or an icon that changes by scent, which keeps cost lower across a range. Matte lamination looks calm, gloss adds shine, and soft-touch adds a velvety feel. Spot UV can pick out the logo, and foil in gold, silver, or rose gold adds an accent. Embossing and debossing add texture to a name. Hand soap boxes with logo on the front and a scent description on the back help the shopper choose. Inserts and windows

A paperboard or corrugated insert holds the bottle upright and keeps the pump from pressing down or rubbing the wall. For a set, the insert has an opening for each item. A die-cut window with clear film shows the color of the soap, which helps in retail. If your bottle is plain, a solid front with a foil logo may look better. A clean white insert makes a colored bottle stand out.

Labeling notes

Hand soap carries ingredient lists, directions, and warnings, and you are responsible for that text. You supply the wording and any required labeling, and we print it where you want it. We do not write or check this text for you.

Artwork and dieline

We send a free dieline sized to your bottle. Supply artwork as a vector AI or PDF file with fonts outlined and images at 300 DPI in CMYK. If you have no artwork yet, free design support and a free consultation are included, and our team can help lay out the front, the side panels, and the back from your logo and brand colors. You review and approve the artwork before production starts.
