Board, printing, and options

Display boxes are made from paperboard or corrugated board. Paperboard gives a smooth surface for sharp color, and corrugated board gives more strength for heavier items. The front panel opens, tears away, or folds back to show the product. Boxes arrive flat and are set up by hand. Finishes include matte or gloss lamination, soft touch, and foil. The opening is cut to size for each item so it dispenses one at a time. A sample kit lets you feel the board and test the fit.

Printing and finishing

Printing can be full color on the outside, with a one color or full color print inside. Because a display box is seen from a few feet away, a bold logo and a clear product name matter most. Keep key text inside the safe area on the dieline, away from folds and tear lines. We set up the folds and the cut lines on the free dieline, and you approve it before production. Put the logo above the opening and a short line below it.

You review and approve the artwork before production starts.
