What seal stickers are used for

Sizes and how to measure

Seal size is written as a diameter for a round seal, or width x height for another shape. To choose a size, measure the area the seal must cover, and add a small overlap across the flap or the seam. A 1 in seal suits a small envelope, a 1.5 in to 2 in seal suits most boxes and tissue paper, and a 3 in seal suits a bold lid mark. Tell us what you plan to seal, and we suggest a size.

Wax seal, gold, and hologram looks

Wax seal stickers copy the look of a wax seal, with a printed or embossed finish, but they are stickers and not real wax. They are easier to apply and do not melt. Gold seal stickers use gold foil or a gold metalized film for a rich, warm look. Golden seal stickers gold is a common way to search for them, and the result is a gold foil seal in a round or shaped design. Hologram seal stickers use a rainbow shimmer film for a bright, modern look. Plain logo seals use paper, kraft, vinyl, or clear film. Ask for a sample kit and compare the looks.

Printing and finishing

Seal sticker printing can be full color or one or two colors. Keep the design bold, because a seal is small. A monogram, a logo, or a simple pattern works best. Foil adds a metallic logo or border. White ink helps colors stand out on clear and kraft stock. Finishes include matte, gloss, and foil. Supply artwork as a vector AI or PDF file with fonts outlined and images at 300 DPI in CMYK. If you have no artwork yet, free design support and a free consultation are included, and our team can help lay out the logo and the text from your brand colors. You review and approve the artwork before production starts.

6. Production takes 6 to 8 business days after artwork approval, and your order ships free to one U.S. address.

The final price depends on sticker size, shape, material, quantity, printing, and finishing.
